Dynamic Loewenstein occupational therapy cognitive assessment in individuals after obtaining brain injury in working age

The thesis Dynamic Loewenstein occupational therapy cognitive assessment in individuals after obtaining brain injury in working age deals with a comparison of the level of the brain injured and non-brain injured people's cognitive functions with the aid of the Loewenstein Occupational Therapy Cognitive Assessment battery (DLOTCA). The theoretical part is focused on an issue of the acquired brain injury, a description of cognitive areas and as well their pathology due to this injury. The aim of the practical part is to test the cognitive functions with the aid of the Loewenstein Occupational Therapy Cognitive Assessment. The survey's main object is the applicability of the working version of the Loewenstein Occupational Therapy Cognitive Assessment battery (DLOTCA), its translated version. The testing was carried out on seventy probands devided into three groups. Healthy people (n=50), cerebrovascular accident patients (n=10) and traumatic brain injury patients (n=10). Test results confirm all the stated hypothesis because it did not meet the prerequisites of the total evaluation. We assumed that a person healthy population will reach 100% success rate testing, which some individuals reached. The structure, content and specifics of training for paramedics, focused on rope techniques

This bachelor thesis deals with structure, content and complex specifics of paramedic training with focus on rope techniques. Three objectives were established. The first objective was to describe specifics and structure of aerial paramedic training with rope techniques usage in practice. The second objective was to report on quality and level of equipment of Air Rescue Service in particular counties of the Czech Republic especially for steeplejack works, works over free depth and rescue performance by using a helicopter. The third and the last objective was to review the operation frequency for steeplejack works, works over free depth and rescue performance by using a helicopter. The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis deals with definition of the aerial paramedic, his personality and his duties as well as operations performed in accordance with the law. Brief history of Air Rescue Service, Air Rescue Service Centres and the call sign of Air Rescue Service in the Czech Republic are described next. Primary and secondary interventions, other activities, indications and contra-indications of Air Rescue Service deployment were defined within all the operations of Air Rescue Service. The paper deals also with general trainings of rescuers and their psyche while performing rescue operations. Finally yet importantly climbing equipment is summarized. The practical part shows the results of qualitative research done with aerial paramedics among the Czech Republic. Research was conducted using half-structured interviews. Interviews were performed with rescuers from South Bohemian Region, Hradec Kralove Region, Moravian-Silesian Region, Vysočina Region, West Bohemia Region and Central Bohemian Region. The age of respondents was from 33 to 50 years. All respondents possessed several years experience in Air Rescue Service. They were chosen deliberately. The interviews were overwritten and set into tables for better clarity. The conclusions were made based on personal interviews. The first task: frequency, structure and training objectives are different especially due to management of Air Rescue Service. The evident difference is between private and state Air Rescue Services. The second task: the training specifics are similar especially for Air Rescue Services led by private companies. These companies dispose with qualified rescuers, who are trained by the companies as well as by the representatives of the Integrated Rescue System. The third task: quality and level of equipment of Air Rescue Service in particular counties of the Czech Republic especially for steeplejack works, works over free depth and rescue performance by using a helicopter is very similar. The differences are only among state Air Rescue Services. The fourth task: no significant differences were found in operation frequency in various counties of the Czech Republic. The average count of operations of all Air Rescue Services is 500x a year. Thanks to the chosen topic I was allowed to get more insight and deeper knowledge about various means of equipment essential for steeplejack works, works over free depth and rescue performance by using a helicopter.

The Examination of the Capital Market´s Efficiency and the Selection of Suitable Capital Strategy

In my diploma I analyzed the USA capital market. I concentrated on 5 representative branches of this market - the biotechnology, the food industry, the car industry, the mining and the finances. 12 companies, which quote their share of stocks in the american capital market, were choosed. I tested the efficiency of this capital market and tried to establish the rate of this market´s efficiency. Later the best strategy was added to the rate of capital market´s efficiency. I counted the average decree, the standard deviation, the variation coefficient, the {$\alpha$} coefficient and {$\beta$} coefficient at the choosed share of stocks. I accomplished the correlative and the runs testing, which were supposed to certify the efficiency of market. The certain anomalies as The Day of the Week Effect, The January Effect and The Size Effect were investigated in more detail. Further I was considering if either the active or the passive strategy should have been used. I concluded that the active strategy is better for investors in times of the financial crisis. I also analyzed P/E ratio at choosed companies. The performated testing shows that the american market of shares is effective, it has the form of low efficiency peak-form efficient markets hypothesis.

Analysis of volatility and profitability of investment fonds on Czech capital market

The topic of my bachelors work is Analysis of volatility and profitability of investment fonds on Czech capital market. The subject of the collective investments belong to the mediators, who work in the financial markets. The free funds are accumulated in the shares fund and they are used for the purchase of the different kind of assets. I have concentrated: - on the description of the development and the contemporary status of the collective investment in the Czech Republic, - on the analysis of the risks and possibilities in this sector. The practical part is intended on 5 joint-shares.The allotment certificates of these shares are in CZK. I have mesured their earning capacity, their risks, factors a and B and specific methods. The results are compared among themselves according the different view-points. I have found that the czech joint- stock markets is different than the world markets. But there are some common components. Its not possible to find out on which indexes they are correlated. We can only speculate.

Život existuje ve změnách. Buď se vše pozitivně vyvíjí nebo pro neschopnost realizace změny zaniká. Proto je změna podnětem pro vznik nových cest, nově realizovaných projektů v podnikové oblasti. Podniky hledající nové a efektivnější způsoby řízení, jejichž výsledky přinesou subjektu vyšší zisky, se zaměřují na inovaci zejména podnikových procesů a portfolia výrobků. Jedním z nejzásadnějších, ale zároveň nejnáročnějších úkolů managementu podniku, je změna způsobu práce zaměstnanců podniku a jejich přístupu k projektům s cílem zvýšit výkonnost podniku jako celku. Výsledky práce lidí jsou ovlivněny mnohokráte potvrzeným rčením Tomáše Bati: ?Největší zlepšení v produktivitě není dosaženo změnou technologie a organizace. Skutečné skoky v produktivitě je možné dosáhnout jen v hlavách a srdcích lidí?
