Business of the vietnamese community in the Czech Republic in FMCG

The aim of this bachelor´s thesis is to characterize business of the vietnamese community in FMCG in the Czech Republic. The thesis has three parts. The first part follows up migration of the Vietnamese to the Czech Republic, the development of the number of the Vietnamese and economic activity the vietnamese community. The second part of the thesis describes vietnamese shops, way how they purchase goods, chosen contract alliances and an example of one vietnamese shop. The last part of the thesis is the practical part, which is made up by evaluation of a questionnaire survey. The aim of this part is to find out the attitude of customers to vietnamese shops with food.
Retail trends in the Czech Republic

The diploma thesis deals with six retail trends that influence significantly food retail chains located in the Czech market. It includes (1) trend in structure of stores in terms of sales area surface, (2) trend in investment in store remodeling, (3) trend in grocery offer supporting Czech regional products, (4) trend in offering healthy grocery, (5) trend in innovation technologies in stores and (5) integration of e-shops and stores. The diploma thesis analyses these trends relating to consumer behaviour via questionnaire survey. Practical contribution of the thesis is to complement existing researches with additional knowledge and possible recommendations that can be used from retailers side.
Marketing communication of the company Avon

The Bachelor thesis is focused on marketing communication of the company Avon Cosmetics. Theoretical part explains the term marketing mix, commercial communication as well as the importance of brand in communication and finally a theory of a marketing research focused on interviewing. In a practical part the company Avon, distribution method and their biggest competitors are introduced. The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze which tools the company uses in marketing communication on a Czech market and find out how the company is perceived among consumers. Finally proposals and recommendations for the company are given.
Sales promotions actions at a customer of an international enterprise

The aim of the bachelor´s thesis is the analysis of the processes and procedures used in the environment of international FMCG enterprises and during preparation, execution and evaluation of sales promotion actions organized at retail buyers of products of an FMCG enterprise in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part includes definitions of key terms from international marketing, which are subsequently used in the practical part. The practical part at first considers sales promotion actions. It sets the basic functioning of a selected enterprise and, by using examples, it explains the procedure of the preparation of such an action, the communication with all the parties involved, such as the retailer or the graphic studio, and the individual phases of the action. Next, it describes a part of regular sales promotions of the enterprise in the form of preparation and utilization of displays for displaying products in the retailers´ stores.
Entrepreneurship of the Clarins Group on the Czech and Slovak market

The bachelor thesis is focuses on entreptreneurship of the Clarins Group on the Czech and Slovak market. The first chapter of the theoretical part defines the 4P concept of the marketing mix and its individual parts. The second chapter of the bachelor thesis is dedicated to explaining terms as brand, brand identity and positioning. Practical part focuses on the introduction of the group and its brands and description of the sortiment in detail. Thesis also provides information about the most important distributors of the group on the Czech and Slovak market and bring a closer look at marketing communication. The last chapter is dedicated to Company's social responsibility of the group.

This thesis deals with the evaluation of economic benefit of renting a filling station. The aim was to determine whether the business in this area is profitable or not. The theoretical part summarizes the business under a franchise agreement and petroleum sector in the Czech Republic. The practical part describes the selected filling station, as well as conditions of the franchise contract and finally evaluates the economic aspect from the rent of the filling station.

The issue of food waste

This thesis deals with the issue of food waste from the global perspective. The aim of the thesis is to summarize this issue from available world sources and on the basis of its own experience from the practice in public catering facilities. The thesis defines areas of food waste within food chain, identifies the economic, social and environmental consequences resulting from careless food handling and describes organizations and companies dealing with the prevention of food wastage. There are recommendations for the prevention of food waste in households. The practical part of the thesis analyzes food waste in Czech households, measured for one week.
Organic food on the Czech market

This bachelor thesis is focused on the theme of organic food. The aim of the thesis is to analyze attitudes and consumers buying behavior towards organic food with regard to intergenerational differences. This aim is achieved through a questionnaire survey. In the first chapter, organic food and organic farming are defined and further specified. The second chapter deals with the offer of an organic food at the selling points and determines the demand for organic food. The third chapter evaluates the results of the questionnaire survey.
