Bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem webových aplikací a je rozdělena na 2 části, z nichž první je teoretická a druhá praktická. Teoretická část pojednává o historii a současnosti webových aplikací a webu s malým náhledem do budoucnosti. Další podkapitola se zabývá architekturou webových aplikací (modularitou, návrhem databáze, strukturou úložiště, atd.). Poslední podkapitola první části rozebírá prostředky k dosažení webové aplikace, jinými slovy základní kameny, tedy databáze, aplikační servery a jazyky používané při tvorbě webové aplikace. Praktická část dokumentuje vývoj rezervačního systému na platformě Apache + PHP + PostgreSQL dle požadavků zadavatele. Tato část obsahuje výčet požadavků (například nutnost registrace domény, definice uživatelských rolí atd.), praktický návod jak aplikaci používat (popřípadě na co si dát při administraci databáze pozor), informace o tom jak webová aplikace funguje z pohledu programátora (například postup skládání stránky z jednotlivých modulů) a náplň poslední podkapitoly je postup nasazení webové aplikace rezervačního systému na libovolném serveru. Bachelor's thesis deals with development of web applications and is divided into 2 parts, the first one is theoretical and the other is practical. The theoretical part discusses about the history and todays status of web applications and web as a whole with a small view into the future. Another section deals with an architecture of web applications (modularity, database design, structure of storage, etc.). The last section of the first part describes elements which are needed for developing of web aplications, i.e. database, aplication server and programming language. Practical part describes the development of the reservation system based on Apache + PHP + PostgreSQL according to client's requirements. This section contains a list of requirements (for example need of domain registration, role definition for user access, etc.), practical instructions how to use the application (eventually how to pay attention to administration of database), information about how web application works from the perspective of the programmer (such as proces of including all modules into every page) and the content of the last sub-section is the procedure how to run the reservation system on a server.
