[cze][eng] Cílem této práce je představit život, dílo a umělecký odkaz zasloužilého umělce Bohuše Herana ( 1907 - 1968 ) - českého violoncellisty, pedagoga, hudebně - literárního spisovatele, propagátora violoncellové hry a hudebního organizátora. Pojednává o Heranově životě od raného mládí přes období studií, první umělecké angažmá, bohatou koncertní činnost v Čechách i zahraničí, pedagogickou práci profesora konzervatoře v Praze a působení v akademické funkci prorektora Janáčkovy akademie múzických umění v Brně. V neposlední řadě se věnuje Heranově četné publikační činnosti a vydavatelské činnosti, jeho hudebně organizačním aktivitám a podpoře mladých hudebníků. B.Herana také po lidské stránce a dotýká se období jeho prázdninových pobytů v Polici nad Metují.This magister thesis proposes the presentation of the Czech cellist, pedagogue, music-literature writer, the cello playing propagator and music organizer - Bohus Heran ( 1907 - 1968). Beside Heran´s childhood, time of his studies, the first orchestral contracts, his greatly rich solo concert activities in Czech lands and abroad too, working as a professor at The Prague Conservatory and beeing the academic Prorector of The Janacek ´s Academy of Performing Artz in Brno, this essay is engagend in Heran´s publushing and music-organizating activity as well as his supporting of young musicians. Finally, it is corcerned with the private aspects of Heran´s personality and his holiday in Police nad Metují.
