Práce se zabývá systémem Efficient Consumer Response, který je založen na vzájemné spolupráci mezi obchodníkem a jeho dodavatelem s cílem vytvořit hodnotu pro koncového spotřebitele. V teoretické části jsou detailně rozebrány 2 základní strategie systému Efficient Consumer Response, strategie Efficient Replenishment (strategie efektivního obnovování zásob) a strategie Category Management (strategie výrobkových řad). Praktická část práce je věnována uplatnění systému Efficient Consumer Response v praxi. The thesis deals with the Efficient Consumer Response system, which is based on partnership between retailer and his supplier to prepare value added for customer. In the teoretical part of the thesis are mentioned 2 main strategies: Efficient Replenishment and Category management. Practical part of the thesis dedicates usage of the system in practice.
