Práce se zabývá v první kapitole vymezením destinačního managementu a marketingu. V druhé kapitole jsou potom sepsány jeho hlavními úkoly a strategiemi v problematice rozvoje destinace. V praktické části se zaměřuje na vývoj Destinačního managementu Českého Krumlova od roku jeho vzniku 2001 do současnosti. V poslední kapitole se hodnotí jeho úspěšnost v rozvoji cestovního ruchu ve městě a na závěr také hrozby do budoucna. This work considers the definitions of destination management and marketing, their main functions and important strategies of the local development. The practical part describes the progression of destination management in Český Krumlov from the year 2001 to 2008. There is also an evaluation of the destination management in the development of turism in the city.
