Moravská šlechta se začala formovat do zemské politické obce na počátku 14. století. Rozhodující roli ve sféře politické moci hrála ve 14. a 15. století relativně malá skupina šlechtických rodů, jejichž členové zastávali významné zemské úřady a byli přísedícími zemského soudu. The Moravia nobility began to form into a provincial political community as early as the beginning of the 14th century. A decisive role in the political power sphere represents in Moravia in the 14th and 15th centuries a relatively narrow group of noble families, the members of which held significant provincial posts and were among the assistant judges at the provincial court.
