Příspěvek ukazuje poznatky z oblasti charakterizování historických malt a poukazuje na potencionální odlišnosti tradiční výroby vápenného pojiva a přípravy malt oproti současné výrobě. Cílem příspěvku je revidovat současné poznatky a vytyčit směry výzkumu v oblasti výroby vápenného pojiva jako tradičního materiálu pro obnovu památek. The paper presents foundings from the field of characterisation of historic mortars and points at potential differences between traditional production of lime binder and preparation of mortars and “modern” ones. The aim of the contribution is to revise the current state of the art and mark out main research directions.
