Tato bakalářská práce analyzuje společenský, politický a hospodářský vývoj Íránu v 80. letech minulého století. Důležitým faktorem, na nějž soustředím pozornost, je šíitský islám, ovládající v této době celou íránskou společnost, v čele s duchovním vůdcem ajatolláhem Ruholláhem Chomejním. Ale především se zaměřím na íránsko-iráckou válku, která měla na hospodářství v Íránu samozřejmě obrovský dopad. Tato válka měla značný vliv nejen na vnitřní vývoj Íránské islámské republiky, ale také na vývoj Blízkého a Středního východu a jeho vztah s velmocemi, zejména se Spojenými státy americkými. Osmdesátá léta tedy budu analyzovat také v kontextu mezinárodních vztahů, kde podstatnou roli hrála ropa a zbrojní průmysl. This work analyses social, political and mainly economic development of Iran in the 1980s. I will primarily focus on the Shi'ite Islam which controlled all the Iranian society at that time, headed by clerical leader ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini. However, the most important event was the Iran-Iraq war which ruined the Iranian economy. This war influenced both Islamic Republic of Iran and The Middle East and its relationship with the West, particularly with the United States. So I will analyze the 1980s in Iran also in connection with foreign relations where the oil and the armament industry played an important role.
