Má bakalářská práce se zabývá ekonomickými aspekty vstupu USA do první světové války, změnami americké ekonomiky a analýzou vzniku nových institucí s válkou souvisejících, které měly i po ukončení války velký význam pro ekonomiku USA. Z počátku ve své práci nastíním situaci, která v USA byla před vstupem do války v letech 1914-17. Zaměřuji se zejména na politiku neutrality a její vývoj, díky čemuž mohu lépe analyzovat ekonomické aspekty vstupu do války a celkově válečné hospodářství, se kterým se pojí vznik nových hospodářských agentur v letech 1917-18. V této části se věnuji hlavně jejich funkcím, činnostem, jejich efektivitě a přínosu pro stát. V závěru práce rozebírám druhy zdrojů, ze kterých bylo válečné hospodářství financováno. This bachelor thesis deals with the economic apects of USA's entrance into WWI, changes in american economy and analyse of the newly established institutions related to the war, which had a great impact on USA's economy even after the end of WWI. At first I outline the situation, which existed in the USA before the entrance into WWI in years 1914-17. I focus especially on Neutrality Policy and its development, which helps me in analyzing economic aspects of the entrance into the war and war economy in general, which is further connected with the establishment of the new economic agencies in years 1917-18. In this section I consider mainly their functions, activities, efectiveness and contribution to the state. In the last section I discuss two kinds of resources which financed the war economy.
