Práce je zaměřená na historii a současnost televizního zpravodajství v Československu a po roce 1993 i v České republice. Konkrétně se zaměřuje na veřejnoprávní Českou televizi, rozebírá podmínky, ve kterých rozjezd vysílání v 50. letech začal a v dalších letech pokračoval. Významným mezníkem v historii českého televizního zpravodajství je rok 2005, kdy Česká televize spustila kanál ČT24, který informuje veřejnost o aktuálních událostech nepřetržitě, tedy 24 hodin denně. Česko se tak připojilo k dalším zemím, které stanici tohoto typu mají. Právě vznik a chod ČT24 je v dalším textu důkladně rozebrán. Jaké je její vysílací schéma? Jaké technologické a personální změny s sebou vznik této stanice přinesl? Jaká je její sledovanost? Kdo a jak připravuje samotné vysílání? Podařilo se ČT24 proniknout do povědomí své cílové skupiny? I na tyto otázky diplomová práce odpoví. V textu jsou využity kromě teoretických znalostí z literatury i praktické znalosti z prostředí České televize. This thesis is focused on history and current situation in TV news service in the Czechoslovakia and after 1993 also in the Czech republic. Primarily the text is focused on statutory Czech TV, the conditions in 50's when the broadcasting started and its development. Very important year in TV broadcasting was 2005, when Czech TV started-up the very new channel - the ČT24. It was created to inform about upcoming events continually, twenty four seven. As the consequence the Czech republic joined other countries with continual news broadcasting service. Development of the ČT24 is described in the thesis in detail. How is the broadcasting scheme of the channel? What personal and technology changes did it bring? How is the ratings? Who is actually preparing the broadcasting and how? Did the ČT24 managed to reach to the target market? The thesis will certainly answer all the questions. Apart from the literature there are also used the real experience from television environment.
