Cílem této práce je zhodnotit postavení Japonska v mezinárodních ekonomických organizacích, a to na základě analýzy jeho zahraniční politiky a hospodářských vztahů. Pro lepší orientaci v této problematice je nejdříve zařazena teoretická část, jež se zabývá současnými trendy ve světové ekonomice a zejména mezinárodními organizacemi, které v ní hrají důležitou roli. Další část se zaměřuje na zahraniční politiku Japonska od druhé světové války po současnost, na regionální i celosvětové úrovni. Následují dvě případové studie. První, věnující se vztahu Japonska a ASEAN, ilustruje regionální dimenzi japonské pozice v mezinárodních organizacích. Oproti tomu ta druhá, pojednávající o vztahu Japonska a GATT/WTO, reflektuje postavení Japonska v organizaci s celosvětovým vlivem. The aim of the present bachelor thesis is to evaluate Japanese position in international economic organizations on the basis of its foreign policy and economic relations. For a better orientation in the matter, a theoretical part is included. It concerns modern trends in global economy and especially international organizations as they play an important role. The second part focuses on the Japanese foreign policy since the World War II, on both regional and global level. Two case studies are included. The first one deals with the relation between Japan and ASEAN and illustrates the regional dimension of Japanese position within the international organizations. On the other hand, the second part is concerned with the relation between Japan and GATT/WTO, and therefore reflects the Japanese position within an organization with a global impact.
