At the present globalized world everyone is trying to be better that the other one, but who is better? This economic value indicates competitiveness. The ways of increasing level of competitiveness vary from country to country. There is no single handbook which advises how to increase level of living or boost economic performance of partucular country. Reports about competitiveness are published every year by various world- famous organizations which make up the ranking of the most competitiveness countries. European union in 2000 published Lisbon strategy which should has made EU as the most competitiveness economy in the world.
