Cílem této práce je především definování informační potřeby středního manažera v malé firmě. Důležitým aspektem a předpokladem je, že ona informační potřeba se opírá nejen o již existující zdroje informací ve firmě, ale také o dosud ne přímo na firmu vztažené tematické okruhy, kterými jsou řízení lidí, společenské chování manažerů a využití metod měkké metodologie při řešení problému a při práci v týmu. Proto je součástí této práce nejen kapitola o informační potřebě, ale také kapitoly zabývající se výše zmíněným. This work should define an information need of a mid-level manager in a small company. An important aspect and the assumption is, that information need relies not only on existing information resources in the company, but also on not yet directly defined topics, such as people management, social behavior, and methods of soft systems methodology of problem solving and team working. So this work isn't only about the information need, but also about topics mentioned above.
