Závěr Práce popisuje vývoj pravomocí a funkcí jedné z nejvýznamnějších institucí Evropské unie, Evropského parlamentu. Zachycuje období od roku 1952, tedy od vzniku Společného Shromáždění, instituce která Evropskému parlamentu bezprostředně předcházela, až do přijetí Smlouvy o Evropské unii. Zaměřuje se především na pravomoci kontrolní, rozpočtové a legislativní. Je zde zaznamenán nejen jejich vývoj, ale také jednotlivé příčiny, které vedly k jejich změně a rozšiřování. V neposlední řadě je pozornost věnována tomu, do jaké míry Evropský parlament jednotlivé pravomoci uplatňoval a jak bylo jejich uplatňování respektováno ze strany ostatních institucí Evropské unie. Syllabus: 1 Introduction 2 Origin and evolution of the European community - particularly the status and responsibilities of individual institutions, a focus on the EP - (development name EP) - a way to direct elections and the third extension of the powers Development of the powers and functions of the European Parliament - and in general), the EP's powers of inspection b) Powers of Parliament in the legislative process, c) EP budgetary powers d) Other powers (to influence the composition of individual institutions, the right to petition, consistent management ...) 4 Conclusion The paper describes the development of powers and functions of one of the most important institutions of the European Union, the European Parliament. It captures the period since 1952, ie since the inception of the Joint Assembly, an institution which immediately preceded the European Parliament, until the Treaty on European Union. It focuses primarily on power control, budgetary and legislative. There is recorded only their development but also the various causes that led to its change and expansion. Finally, attention is paid to the extent to which the European Parliament and the different powers applied to their application was respected by other EU institutions.
