Bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem funkce finančního arbitra ČR. V úvodu práce jsem nejprve charakterizovala samotnou funkci, přičemž jsem se zaměřila na její kompetence a význam. V další části práce jsem popsala její dosavadní vývoj a následně jsem i nastínila plánované legislativní změny, které se pravděpodobně uskuteční v roce 2011. V této práci jsem také zmapovala vývoj funkce finančního arbitra České republiky v oblasti mezinárodní spolupráce s obdobnými zahraničními orgány. V závěrečné kapitole jsem se zamyslela nad významem arbitra pro běžného spotřebitele. The subject of this bachelor thesis is development of function "Financial Arbiter of the Czech Republic". In the first chapter I described the function with the intention of its competence and purpose. After that I outlined the development of this function and I continued to outline preliminary planned changes, which should come into existence probably in 2011. In this thesis I focused on international cooperation with similar foreign organization, as well. In conclusion I thought about importance of financial arbiter to consumers.
