Pivovarnictví je v České republice významnou a tradiční součástí potravinářského průmyslu a pivo patří k neznámějším produkčním artiklům a vývozním komoditám. V teoreticko-metodologické části budou obecně představeny změny v národním hospodářství po roce 1989 a vymezeny dotčené pojmy a definice. Poté bude z teoretického hlediska popsán transformační proces. V analytické části bude představena struktura výrobních kapacit v pivovarnictví před zahájením procesu privatizace a dále bude zkoumán privatizační proces v tomto oboru. Následně bude analyzována struktura výrobních kapacit od ukončení privatizačního procesu až do současné doby. Zvláštní zřetel bude kladen na privatizační proces společností Plzeňský Prazdroj, a.s, Pivovary Staropramen, a.s, Pivovar Svijany, a.s a Budějovický Budvar, n.p. Závěrem této části bude porovnáván vývoj v postavení těchto pivovarů na českém pivním trhu za celé sledované období. Cílem práce je analýza vývoje privatizačního procesu pivovarnictví v České republice na příkladu některých vybraných pivovarů, včetně struktury jejich výrobních kapacit a postavení na trhu ve sledovaném období. Brewing industry is an important and traditional part of food and beverage industry and beer is one of the most famous production articles and export commodities. The theoretical and methodological part generally introduces changes in the national economy after the year of 1989 and defines necessary concepts and definitions. Afterwards the process of transformation is described from theoretical point of view. The analytical part presents the structure of the capacity of production in brewing industry before the initiation of the process of privatization and further investigates this process in this field. Then my thesis analyzes the structure of the capacity of production from the end of privatization process until now. Special attention is paid to the process of privatization of companies Plzeňský Prazdroj, a.s, Pivovary Staropramen, a.s, Pivovar Svijany, a.s a Budějovický Budvar, n.p. Finally the development in market share of these breweries on the Czech beer market is compared during the entire period. The aim of the is work an analysis of the privatization process of brewing in the Czech Republic on the example of selected breweries, including the structure of their capacities of production and market share in the reference period.
