Main theme of this work was to do the strategic analysis of the enterprise Hotel Plzeň with application of analysis and methods, that should show, which strong and weak points has this company and identify her opportunities and threats. To specify it, was the base for the formulation of a strategy, proposals and recommendations for next development. After executed analysis came out, that the enterprise has a lot of strengths, on which it can lean in future and strong it -- for example its staff, costumers and services ; and has many opportunities for using too. The end of work was dedicated to proposals for next development of business activities and how to improve the financial situation of this company. Cílem práce bylo provést strategickou analýzu společnosti Hotel Plzeň*** s použitím dílčích analýz a modelů, které měly ukázat na silná a slabá místa firmy a identifikovat její příležitosti a hrozby. Jejich stanovení bylo základnou pro formulaci strategie, návrhů a doporučení pro další rozvoj. Provedené analýzy ukázaly, že i přes současný nepříznivý vývoj má společnost řadu předností, o které se nyní může opřít a naopak je ještě posílit, aby s nimi mohla počítat v budoucnosti a že obor hotelnictví, který je hlavním oborem podnikání, je v segmentu tří hvězd velmi žádaným i v době stagnace. Závěr práce byl věnován návrhům zaměřených na další rozvoj podnikatelských aktivit a zlepšení finanční situace firmy.
