Tato práce se zabývá otázkou, jaké jsou skutečné dopady informačních a komunikačních technologií (ICT) na dnešní organizace, jaký je skutečný přínos informačních a komunikačních technologií pro organizace a jejich okolí. Práce je rozdělena na dvě hlavní části, teoretickou a praktickou. První část se zabývá podkladem k problematice organizací a informačních a komunikačních technologií a jejich vzájemnými vztahy. Na základě zjištěných informací, získaných podkladů a logiky, se práce snaží shrnout vliv ICT na organizace a společnost. V druhé části bude představen organizační útvar vybraného podniku, jehož podpora formou ICT není natolik typická. Na základě rozboru procesů probíhajících v této organizační jednotce budou odhaleny informační potřeby těchto procesů a způsoby, jakým jsou uspokojovány. Na základě těchto zjištění bude doporučeno řešení na zlepšení stávající situace. This diploma thesis deals with question about real impact of information and communication technology on current organizations and what is a real benefit of using information and communication technologies (ICT) for organizations and their surroundings. Thesis is divided into two main parts, theoretical and practical one. In the first part, there is theoretical base for problematic about organization and ICT and their mutual relations. At the end of this part I tried to summarize the impact of ICT on organization and society, according to obtained material, collected information and logic. In the second part there is presented an organization department of selected company without typical ICT support. Based on process analysis taking place in this unit, there is list of identified information needs of this processes and how they are met. Finally I will try to recommend some solutions to improve the current situation.
