Diplomová práce se zabývá výsledky Dohody o Severoamerické zóně volného obchodu po patnácti letech od jejího vstupu v platnost. Účelem je zhodnotit vývoj jednotlivých ekonomik a posoudit, nakolik se členským státům NAFTA podařilo naplnit cíle Dohody. První část se věnuje pokroku Severoamerického regionu v oblasti obecných cílů, definovaných v prvních článcích Dohody. Druhá a třetí kapitola se potom zaměřují na vyhodnocení strategických cílů jednotlivých států. This thesis is focused on the accomplishments of the North American Free Trade Agreement after fifteen years since coming into force. The objective is to evaluate the existing trends in the three countries and review if the member states succeeded in fulfilling the goals of the Agreement. First part is dedicated to the development in the area of general goals, defined in the first articles of the Agreement. Second and third chapter examine the progress made in strategic goals of each country.
