Následující stránky by měly přiblížit jednu z nejvýznamnějších událostí minulého století, velkou depresi, která trvala skoro pět let. Chtěla bych se zaměřit především na příčiny krachu na burze na Wall Streetu a na změny v ekonomickém smýšlení. Dále bych chtěla zjistit, zda je možné se z této události, která postihla téměř celý svět poučit, aby už k podobné tragédii nedošlo.Tato práce by měla také vysvětlit, proč došlo k některým zásadním rozhodnutím ze strany vlády, bankéřů a ekonomů. These following pages should approximate one of the most important events of last century, the great depression which last almost five years. Firstly, I would focus on causes of the crash on Wall Street stock market and on changes of economic thinking. Thereinafter I would like to elicit if is possible to learn from this event, which have striked almost the whole world, to not repeat this similar tragedy. This text should clear up also why governance, bankers and economists made some fundamental decisions.
