Diplomová práce se zabývá komparací historického vývoje římskokatolické a českobratrské evangelické farnosti v městě Sokolov v období od roku 1945 až do roku 1989. Práce si klade za cíl porovnat podobnosti a rozdíly mezi historickými událostmi, které se staly ve farnostech v tomto období.
