Předkládaná práce popisuje výzkum v oblasti statického zajištění existujících staveb systémem nerezové helikální výztuže se zaměřením na možnosti testování jeho použití. Cíle jsou stanoveny na základě rešerše a na základě doprovodných experimentů zaměřených na jednotlivé komponenty systému i na jejich interakci s vyztuženým prvkem. Hlavním cílem je zjištění, zda a do jaké míry je některá z metod diagnostiky stavebních konstrukcí schopná předpovědět testované chování drážkového spoje helikální výztuže s konstrukčním materiálem. Vedlejším cílem je popis samotného chování výztuže kotvené v drážce a ověření možnosti použití trámcové zkoušky k testování tohoto spoje za použití množství a formy materiálu, které by při odběru nepoškodily stávající konstrukci. Cílů je dosaženo porovnáváním výsledků diagnostiky vzorků s výsledky chování spojů helikální výztuže získaných trámcovou zkouškou na stejných vzorcích z různě (teplotně) degradovaného betonu. Na straně diagnostiky jsou výsledky pevnosti v tlaku, síly při odtrhové zkoušce, vlastní frekvence zjištěné metodou Impact-Echo, rychlosti šíření ultrazvuku a hodnoty odrazu Schmidtova kladívka. Na straně výsledků trámcové zkoušky je chování drážkových spojů, reprezentované různými indikátory. K porovnání, nalezení vztahů i vyjádření míry korelace je použita vážená lineární regrese metodou nejmenších čtverců. Hlavním zjištěním je nalezení závislosti tuhosti drážkového spoje na pevnosti v tlaku, rychlosti šíření ultrazvuku a první vlastní frekvenci betonových vzorků. Vedlejším zjištěním je potvrzení možnosti testování spoje v drážce pomocí trámcové zkoušky na malých tělesech o rozměrech jádrových vývrtů. Obě zjištění vedou k možnosti snadného určení tuhosti spoje, a tím umožňují jednoduchý návrh opravy konstrukce pomocí helikální výztuže. Celou práci doplňují doprovodná měření, která buď přímo podporují hlavní experimenty, nebo doplňují znalosti o možnostech testování bez výrazného vlivu na hlavní záměr práce. Do první skupiny patří například tepelná degradace betonu a tradiční zkoušky výztuže, zatímco do druhé skupiny patří měření deformace helikální výztuže systémem pracujícím na principu DIC -- „Digital Image Correlation“ a zkoušky kotevní zálivky. Výsledky otevírají možnosti širšího výzkumu v této oblasti, po kterém by mohlo být umožněno využití v běžné praxi.
The presented thesis describes research in the field of structural strengthening of existing buildings using twisted stainless steel bars with a focus on the possibilities of its testing. The objectives are based on research and accompanying experiments focused on the individual components of the system as well as their interaction with reinforced elements. The main objective is to determine whether and to what extent any of the methods of building structure diagnostics can predict tested behaviour of the groove joint of twisted steel bars with the substrate structure material. A secondary objective is to describe the twisted steel bar groove joint behaviour itself and to investigate the possibility of using a beam test to test this connection using a quantity and form of material that would not cause damage to the existing structure when removed. The objectives are achieved by comparing the results of specimens diagnostics and the results of twisted steel bars groove joint behaviour obtained by beam testing of the same specimens made of differently (thermally) degraded concrete. On the diagnostics side are the results of compressive strength, pull-off force, first longitudinal frequency determined by Impact-Echo, ultrasonic pulse velocity and Schmidt hammer rebound number value. On the beam test results side are various indicators representing the behaviour of the groove joints. Weighted least squares linear regression is used to find correlations. The main finding is the existence of dependency of the groove joint stiffness on the compressive strength, ultrasonic pulse velocity and first longitudinal frequency of concrete specimens. A secondary finding is the confirmation of the possibility of testing the groove joint using a beam test on small core-drill-size specimens. Both findings lead to the possibility of easily determining the stiffness of the groove joint, thus allowing simple design of structural repairs using twisted steel bars. Presented work is complemented by accompanying measurements, which either directly support the main experiments or supplement knowledge about testing options without significant influence on the main purpose of the work. The first group includes thermal degradation of concrete and traditional reinforcement tests, and the second group includes the measurement of the deformation of helical reinforcement with a system working on the DIC principle -- "Digital Image Correlation" and anchor grout tests. The results open up the possibility of further research in this area, after which it could be possible to use described approaches in the common practice.
