Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá, jak muži ve věku 18-25 let vnímají genderované a genderově neutrálníobaly kosmetických výrobků,jakož iširšíteoretický a historický kontextgenderových rolí a stereotypů. Teoretická část se zabývá vývojem genderových konceptů od raných výzkumů, které se převážně zaměřovaly na muže, až po zavedení "genderu" jako sociálního konstruktu feministickým hnutím. Dále zkoumá, jak se genderové role vyvíjejí od dětství prostřednictvím socializačních procesů, přičemž zdůrazňuje vlivy biologie, kultury a společnosti.Diskutuje se také o problematice genderových stereotypů,přičemž se upozorňuje na to, že mohou sice zjednodušit sociální interakce, ale často vedou k příliš zjednodušeným předpokladům. Pozornost se poté zaměří na použití těchto konceptů v kosmetickém průmyslu. Marketing a branding často posilují buď hypermaskulinní, nebo femininní znaky, ačkoli se stále více prosazuje genderově neutrálnípřístup.Prostřednictvím studievyužívajícíkvantitativnídotazník i kvalitativní rozhovory práce hodnotí postoje mužských spotřebitelů k designu obalů, preferenci určitých produktů a potenciální otevřenost vůči genderově neutrálním možnostem. Zjištění ukazují, že ačkoli tradičně mužský design je pro mnohé stále přitažlivý, značná část mladých spotřebitelů mužského pohlaví vítá neutrální nebo... This bachelors thesis explores how men aged 18-25 perceive gendered and gender-neutral packaging of cosmetic products, as well as the broader theoretical and historical context of gender roles and stereotypes. The theoretical section addresses the evolution of gender concepts, from early research that largely focused on men to the feminist movement's introduction of "gender" as a social construct. It further examines how gender roles develop from childhood through socialization processes, highlighting the influences of biology, culture, and society. The issue of gender stereotypes is also discussed, noting that while they can simplify social interactions, they often lead to oversimplified assumptions. Attention then turns to the application of these concepts in the cosmetics industry. Marketing and branding often reinforce either hypermasculine or feminine cues, although there is a growing movementtoward gender-neutralapproaches.Through an empiricalstudy usingboth a quantitative questionnaire and qualitative interviews, the work assesses male consumer attitudes toward packaging design,preference for certain products, and potential openness to gender-neutraloptions.Findingsindicate thatalthough traditionally masculine designscontinue to appeal to many, a substantial segment of young male consumers...
