1 Abstrakt Diplomová práce Digitální technologie ve službách sociální péče pro seniory Karolína Puttová Tato práce se věnuje možnostem využití digitálních technologií v pobytových službách sociální péče o seniory. V úvodu zvolíme filozofii dekonstrukce francouzského poststrukturalisty Jacquese Derridy jako metodu analýzy přínosů a limitů digitálních technologií v péči o seniory, při které budeme vycházet z výzkumných rozhovorů s profesionály z praxe a výzkumu. Poté představíme základní pojmy a prostředí. Seznámíme se s vývojem technologií v dějinách, definujeme digitální technologie a naznačíme rizika, která sebou jejich využití může přinášet. Následně představíme stárnutí jako etapu převratných změn a budeme věnovat pozornost vývoji a saturaci potřeb během lidského života, abychom zjistili, zda je období stáří z jejich pohledu něčím specifické. Nakonec se seznámíme s prostředím pobytových služeb pro seniory i pestrou skupinou pracovníků, kteří o seniory pečují, a naznačíme rozpory a výzvy, které jsou s výkonem jejich práce spojené. Se znalostí pojmů a prostředí navrhneme rozdělení digitálních technologií do třech kategorií podle funkcí, které mohou v kontextu péče o seniory plnit, a pro každou z nich uvedeme příklady z praxe, které zhodnotíme pohledem profesionálů. Závěrem nabídneme reflexi přínosů a... 1 Abstract Thesis Digital technologies in residential care homes for seniors Karolína Puttová This work explores the potential of utilising digital technologies in residential care homes for seniors as part of social care services. At the beginning the philosophy of deconstruction of the French poststructuralist Jacques Derrida is introduced as a method to assess the benefits and limitations of digital technologies in care for the elderly based on the results of research interviews with professionals from practice and research. Than the basic terms and environment are presented. Firstly, the history of technology and its development is examined, digital technologies are defined and the risks associated with their use are briefly analysed. Aging is then introduced as a period of life marked by dramatic changes and attention is drawn to the development and saturation of needs during human life to analyse whether old age is distinct in its own right. Then the environment of residential care home for seniors is introduced, along with a diverse group of caregivers to highlight the conflicts and challenges associated with the profession.
