Diplomová práce se zabývá možnostmi uplatnění hydroabsorbentů v období sucha. V úvodní částí této práce jsou popsány obecné vlastnosti hydroabsorbentů, popis použitých typů a také klimatické faktory ve zkoumané oblasti. Dále je pak v práci popsán konkrétní výzkum, který byl proveden na čtyřech plochách podle dřevin. Byl použit buk lesní, smrk ztepilý, javor klen a dub zimní. Výzkum byl proveden v oblasti Hostýnských vrchů, v nadmořské výšce od 550 do 720 m, na lesních typech 5S9, 4B1, 5B1 a 4B4. Byly zde použity tři typy hydroabsorbentů - Hydrogel jemný, Hydrogel hrubý a terraCottem v dávce 2 g a 4 g. Pro srovnání pak byla použita kontrolní varianta bez hydroabsorbentu. Na závěr pak jsou shrnuty a porovnány výsledky a efektivnost použití hydroabsorbentů na zkoumaných plochách. U dubu zimního a buku lesního byly účinky hydroabsorbentů prokázány, a to především nižšími ztrátami sazenic. U smrku ztepilého byly výsledky ovlivněny exaktně – poškozením klikorohem borovým, byl zde však prokázán výrazný vliv hydroabsorbentu na kořenovém systému. U javoru klenu byl vliv hydroabsorbentů také pozitivní, i když účinek nebyl tak výrazný, jako u ostatních dřevin. Vliv měla použitá látka a koncentrace. This thesis deals with the possibilities of employment of hydroabsorbents in periods of drought. The first part of the thesis contains description of general features of hydroabsorbents, description of types used as well as description of climatic factors within the investigated area. The second part describes the research, which was carried out on four areas according to tree species. European beech, European spruce, sycamore and Conrnish oak were used. Research was carried out within the region of Hostýn Hills, at an altitude of 550 to 720 m, on forest types 5S9, 4B1, 5B1 and 4B4. Three types of hydroabsorbents were used – Fine grained Hydrogel, Coarse grained Hydrogel and terraCottem in dosages of 2 g and 4 g. A control variant without hydroabsorbents was used for comparison. In the conclusions, the results and effectivity of hydrocarbons use on investigated areas are summarized and compared. For Conrnish oak and European beech, the effects of hydroabsorbents have been proved, mainly by lower losses of seedlings. For European spruce were results influenced exactly by the damage by the pine weevil but on the root system there was a significant influence of the hydroabsorbent. The effect of hydroabsorbents on sycamore was also positive, although the effect was not as pronounced as other woody species. The substance and concentration used had an effect.
