Plemeno charolais je jedno z nejpočetnějších masných plemen chovaných napříč všemi kontinenty. V České republice se řadí mezi vůbec nejoblíbenější plemeno spolu s masným simentálem, limousine a aberdeen angus. Je oblíbené především pro svou výraznou zmasilost. Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na vyhodnocení reprodukčních ukazatelů krav a růstovou schopnost potomstva na konkrétní farmě, jež je zapojena do kontroly užitkovosti. Byl sledován vliv chovatelských podmínek, pohlaví, způsobu plemenitby, délky mezidobí, věk při prvním zapuštění, hmotnost telat při porodu, ve 120 a 210 dnech. Taktéž byl sledován vliv býka na růstovou schopnost telat. Průměrná délka mezidobí u krav za rok 2019 byla 390 dní, za rok 2020 se pohybovala na úrovni 398 dní. Věk při prvním zapuštění se na farmě pohyboval v rozmezí 24 až 28 měsíců. Býci dosahovali vyšších hmotností ve všech sledovaných obdobích (narození, 120 a 210 dní) oproti jalovicím. Nejvyšší průměrné hmotnosti ve 210 dnech dosahovali býci po inseminačním býkovi Jaquard (392 kg). Rozdíl mezi průměrnou hmotností ve 210 dnech býčků a jalovic činil 48 kg. Charolais breed is a beef breed that is the most numerous worldwide beef breed. In the Czech Republic there is the most famous beef breed and other famous beef breed are Beef Simental, Limousine and Aberdeen Angus. Charolais is popular for its great musculature. This diploma thesis was focused on evaluation of reproductive indicators and growth ability on this farm. This beef breed is in performance control. The influence breeding conditions, sex, breeding method, the length of the interim period, the age at the first insemination and the weight of calf at birth, at 120 and 210 days. The average lenght of meantime of cows were 390 days in 2019 and 398 days in 2020. The age of the first insemination heifers were from 24 to 28 months. Bulls had higher weights in all reference periods (born, 120 and 210 days). The highest average weight in 210 days had calves for.insemination bull Jaquard (392 kg). The average weight of bulls and heifers was 48 kg.
