Práce se zabývá propojením současných architektonických paradigmat a tradiční lidové architektury na území Krkonoš. Se zaměřením na současné architektonické projevy provádí analýzu staveb od devíti českých architektonických ateliérů, které vstupují do kulturního a historického prostředí hor. Zkoumáním vztahu mezi architektonickými zásahy a přírodním prostředím studie osvětluje vliv lidského působení na regionální krajinu. Ústředním bodem tohoto zkoumání je začlenění lidových architektonických prvků do současné výstavby horských chalup. Objasňuje, jak architekti pracují s tradičními prvky, tak, aby vyhověli současným požadavkům a zároveň zachovali kulturní kontinuitu. Výzkum se dále zabývá mnohostrannými výzvami, které přináší horské klima a přísné regulační požadavky nařízené Správou národního parku. The thesis deals with the connection between contemporary architectural paradigms and traditional folk architecture in the Giant Mountains. Focusing on contemporary architectural manifestations, it analyses buildings from nine Czech architectural studios that enter the cultural and historical environment of the mountains. By examining the relationship between architectural interventions and the natural environment, the study sheds light on the influence of human influence on the regional landscape. Central to this exploration is the incorporation of vernacular architectural elements into contemporary mountain cottage construction. It explains how architects work with traditional elements to meet contemporary demands while maintaining cultural continuity. The research also addresses the multifaceted challenges posed by the mountain climate and the strict regulatory requirements imposed by the National Park Authority.
