Tato bakalářská práce analyzuje hospodářskou a finanční krizi ve 30. letech 20. století se zaměřením na problematiku bankovního systému Spojených států amerických. Předmětem mého zájmu je monetární opatření Bankovní prázdniny, které byly vyhlášeny prezidentem F.D. Rooseveltem 4. března 1933 ve snaze zachránit kolabující finanční systém. Mezi lety 1933 - 1935 vstupují v platnost reformní zákony, které mají na výslednou podobu bankovního systému zásadní vliv. Má bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na tyto zákony, vysvětluje jejich význam a hodnotí jejich účinnost. Rozebírá, zda bylo tak drastické opatření nanejvýš nutné, či bylo možno využít jiných alternativ. This bachelor thesis analyses economical and financial crisis in the 30's of 20th century. It mainly focuses on the bank system in the United States of America, especially the monetary action - Bank Holidays. The Bank Holidays were pronounced by president F.D. Roosevelt on the 4th of March 1933 in order to recover collapsing financial system. The reforms which significantly influenced the final stage of the bank system were applied in years 1933 - 1935. These reformative laws are deailed analysed in this bachelor thesis, especially their effectivity and if it was necessary to take these actions or better take another alternative steps.
