Východiska: Závislost je v různých formách součástí životů lidí a mnohdy je provází celý život. Dopady závislosti se neomezují pouze na jedince, pro kterého je závislost problémem, ale týkají se i ostatních členů rodiny. Při práci s adiktologickými klienty je proto žádoucí pracovat i s dalšími členy rodiny a blízkými osob užívajících návykové látky a společně hledat cestu ke zvládnutí obtížné situace. Adiktologičtí klienti se objevují v rozmanitých typech služeb, sociální služby nevyjímaje, a právě v těchto službách by adiktolog se svými transdisciplinárními teoretickými znalostmi a dovednostmi mohl být přínosem při práci na zlepšení životní situace rodin vyhledávajících sociální poradenství, azylové domy či využívajících sociálně aktivizačních služeb pro rodiny s dětmi. Cíle: Cílem práce je zmapovat možnosti uplatnění profese adiktologa ve vybraných sociálních službách zaměřených na práci s rodinou v Praze. Dílčí cíle zodpoví otázku, zda a jak vybraná zařízení pracují s adiktologickými klienty a jejich rodinami a jak jsou informována o pozici adiktologa a jeho náplni práce. Metody: Sběr dat byl proveden formou kvalitativního výzkumu pomocí polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Nahrané audiozáznamy... Background: Addiction in various forms is a part of people's lives, often accompanying them throughout their lives. The impacts of addiction are not limited to just the individual for whom addiction is a problem but also affect other family members. Therefore, it is desirable to work with other family members and close individuals using addictive substances when working with addiction clients, seeking together a way to manage the difficult situation. Addiction clients appear in various types of services, including social services, and it is precisely in these services that an addiction specialists with their transdisciplinary theoretical knowledge and skills could contribute to improving the life situations of families seeking social counseling, shelters, or utilizing socially activating services for families with children. Objectives: The aim of the study is to map out the possibilities of employing addiction specialists in selected social services focusing on family work in Prague. Specific objectives address the question of whether and how selected facilities work with addiction clients and their families and how informed they are about the position of an addiction specialist and their scope of work.
