Tato diplomová práce se zabývá pochopením toho, jak je prezentována hodnota spánku a konstruována efektivita vitamínů a doplňků stravy pro lepší spánek, konkrétně jakým způsobem influenceři na sociálních sítích definují spánek jako medicínský problém a jeho závislost na farmaceutických produktech a konstruují tyto produkty podporující lepší spánek jako komodity. S ohledem na cíle výzkumu byla použita metoda obsahové analýzy. Výsledný výzkumný vzorek se skládal ze 124 příspěvků. Jak se ukázalo, influenceři systematicky využívají podobnou strukturu ve svých příspěvcích, která vypadá následovně: 1) Problematizace a definice "špatného" spánku; 2) (nepovinné) Konstrukce ideálu "dobrého" spánku; 3) Nabízení potenciálních řešení pro různorodé problémy se spánkem. Ve svých příspěvcích influenceři také konstruují vnímání pozitivních (přírodní ingredience, podpora celkového zdraví a "pocitu pohody", individualizovaná řešení, dostupné řešení) a negativních aspektů (riziko vývoje závislosti nebo tolerance, maskování spánkových poruch, omezené vědecké důkazy) vitamínů při řešení problémů se spánkem. Při oslovování publika a přesvědčování ho k nákupu daných produktů pro lepší spánek také využívají ve svém obsahu na různých sociálních médiích určité komunikační strategie, konkrétně osobní příběhy a vyprávění,... This thesis deals with understanding how the value of sleep is presented, and the effectiveness of vitamins and dietary supplements for better sleep is constructed, specifically how influencers on social networks define sleep as a medical problem and its dependence on pharmaceutical products, which leads to and constructs these vitamins products promoting better sleep as commodities. Considering the research objectives, the method of content analysis was used. The resulting research sample consisted of 124 contributions. As it turns out, influencers systematically use a similar structure in their posts, which looks like this: 1) Problematization and definition of "bad" sleep; 2) (optional) Construction of the ideal of "good" sleep; 3) Offering potential solutions for a variety of sleep problems. In their posts, influencers also construct perceptions of the positive (natural ingredients, promotion of overall health and "feel- good", individualized solutions, affordable solutions) and negative aspects (risk of developing addiction or tolerance, masking sleep disorders, limited scientific evidence) of vitamins in addressing problems with sleep.
