Požáry jsou významným disturbančním faktorem, hrajícím klíčovou roli ve formování a fungování ekosystémů. V posledních desetiletích pozorujeme nárůst nebezpečné požárové aktivity. Očekává se, že s postupující klimatickou změnou bude frekvence a závažnost požárů narůstat. Je tedy klíčové se této problematice detailně věnovat. Množství a hořlavost opadu jsou jedny z hlavních faktorů určujících vznik a chování požárů. Vlastnosti opadu ovlivňují rychlost jeho dekompozice a tím i jeho akumulaci na půdním povrchu. Zároveň ovlivňují půdní faunu, která může bioturbací výrazně přispět k redukci opadu z povrchu půdy. Tyto vlivy závisí na druhu stromů a navíc jsou ovlivněny předchozím vývojem daného ekosystému. Tato práce zkoumá vliv druhu stromů, půdní fauny, stádia vývoje půdy a jejich vzájemných interakcí na hořlavost nadložních vrstev humusu pomocí laboratorního experimentu a studia fyzikálních veličin, které určují hořlavost. V rámci experimentu byly simulovány půdní profily porostů čtyř druhů stromů (listnatých: Alnus glutinosa a Quercus robur; a dvou jehličnatých: Picea omorica and Pinus nigr) s půdami ve dvou stádiích vývoje: iniciální půda, kde opad ležel přímo na povrchu půdotvorného substrátu a půda vyvinutá (40 let stará), kde byl opad přidán na vrstvu půdních horizontů vyvinutých pod jednotlivými... Wildefires are a major disturbant factor, playing a key role in the formation and functioning of ecosystems. We have seen an increase in dangerous fire activity in recent decades. As climate change progresses, the frequency and severity of fires are expected to increase. It is therefore crucial to address this issue in detail. The quantity and flammability of plant litter is one of the main factors determining ignition and fire behaviour. The properties of litter affect the rate of its decomposition and thus its accumulation on the soil surface. At the same time, they affect soil fauna, which can greatly contribute to litter reduction from the soil surface through bioturbation. These influences depend on the species of trees and, moreover, are influenced by the previous evolution of the ecosystem. This work examines the influence of the tree species, soil fauna and soil legacy and their interactions on the combustibility of the forest floor through laboratory experiment and the study of physical quantities that determine combustibility.
