Bakalářská práce má za cíl rozšířit povědomí zainteresovaných aktérů o psychoaktivní látce kratom a poukázat na problematiku kratomu v dnešní společnosti. Zasazuje zmíněnou látku do historického kontextu a popisuje její jednotlivé druhy společně s chemickými obsahovými látkami, fytochemií, přípravou a použitím. Práce je zaměřena i na nastínění problematiky kratomu z hlediska jeho závislostního potenciálu, legislativy a zasazuje danou problematiku i do školního prostředí. Prostřednictvím dvou případových studií využívajících metody sběru dat ve formě polostrukturovaného rozhovoru, ankety a analýzy dat jsou popsány konkrétní situace užívání kratomu žáky ve škole, přístup učitelů společně se zvoleným řešením, a samotný postoj žáků a učitelů k řešené problematice. Celá práce pak udává základ pro možné zasazení tématu kratom do výuky chemie, například prostřednictvím chemických učebnic. Získaná data potvrdila rostoucí výskyt případů užívání kratomu žáky středních škol a existenci kratomu jako jedno z aktuálních témat mezi mladou generací. Z výsledků vyplývá většinový zájem učitelů i žáků o další vzdělávání v této oblasti a o možnou integraci tématu kratomu do vyučovacích hodin. Případové studie naznačují i viditelný dopad přístupu učitelů k řešené problematice na zkušenosti a celkový přístup žáků k... The bachelor thesis aims to raise awareness of interested parties about the psychoactive substance kratom and to highlight the issue of kratom in today's society. It places the substance in a historical context and describes its different varieties together with its chemical content, phytochemistry, preparation, and use. The work also aims to outline the issue of kratom in terms of its addictive potential, legislation and places the issue in a school environment. Through two case studies, using data collection methods in the form of semi-structured interview, survey, and data analysis, specific situations of kratom use by school students, the approach of teachers together with the chosen solution, and the students' and teachers' attitudes towards the issue at hand are described. The whole work then sets the basis for a possible introduction of the kratom topic into chemistry lessons, for example through chemistry textbooks. The data obtained confirmed the increasing incidence of kratom use by secondary school students and the existence of kratom as one of the current topics among the young generation.
