Práce Stejné místo se zabývá problematikou sociálního a komerčního bydlení ve statutárním městě Brně, které je ovlivněno rostoucími cenami bytů, omezenými prostředky města k jejich regulaci a také rozšířením skupiny obyvatel ohrožených bezdomovectvím. Cílem práce bylo vytvořit udržitelný koncept sociálního bydlení, který by omezil problematiku segregace obyvatel, napomohl by začlenění sociálních skupin a také by přispěl k udržení městského bytového fondu. Název práce Stejné místo jde vyložit dvěma významy. První – lidé v sociální nouzi se shlukují na jednom, stejném místě. A druhý – soužití různých sociálních skupin na stejném místě, což je koncept, kterého se snažím docílit. Koncept je poté aplikován na pozemek nacházející se na ulici Hlinky, se záměrem demonstrovat možnost propojení sociálních a komerčních bytů do jednoho bytového domu. The work The Same Place deals with the issue of social and commercial housing in the statutory city of Brno, which is affected by rising housing prices, the limited resources of the city to regulate them, and the expansion of the group of residents at risk of homelessness. The aim of the thesis was to create a sustainable concept of social housing that would reduce the problem of segregation of residents, would help the inclusion of social groups and would also contribute to the maintenance of the city's housing stock. The title of the thesis Same Place can be interpreted in two senses. The first is that people in social need are gathered in the same place. And the second - the coexistence of different social groups in the same place, which is the concept I am trying to achieve. The concept is then applied to a plot of land located on Hlinky Street, with the intention of demonstrating the possibility of combining social and commercial housing into a single apartment building.
