Předmětem řešení bakalářské práce je návrh motelu pro řidiče kamionů v Indii. Objekt se nachází v části Kannadi v okresu Pallakad v blízkosti komunikace NationaL Highway 544, na kterou je pozemek napojen z jižní strany. V bezprostředné blízkosti se nenácházejí žádné okolní stavby. Jedná se o návrh samostatně stojící dvoupodlažní budovy, která je rozdělelena do 4 bloků. Převážná většina plochy je určena pro krátkodobé ubytování zbytek pro stravování a komerci. Podstanou roli hraje místní náboženství a lokální tradice, které byly inspirací pro dispoziční i estetické řešení stavby. Části jsou propojeny vnitřním atriem a do obytných pokojů ve 2NP je přístup z pavlače. Všechny pokoje jsou určeny pro 2 hosty a neobsahují hygienické zázemí (ty jsou navržená společná, vždy 2 v jednom podlaží). Návrh využívá tradiční materiály a fasáda je složena z předsazených otočných panelů. Ty tvoří kovový rám s barevným výpletem z recyklovaných plastů (popř. textilií). Tím stavba poukazuje také na aktuální situaci znečištění ve světě a hlavně Indii. Barevnost odkazuje na jejich náboženskou kulturu, která se používá i na jejich typických vozech a má přinášet ochranu a bezpečnost na cestách do času navrácení k rodinám. Panely také slouží jako stínící prvek stavby. The subject of the bachelor thesis is the design of an motel for highway drivers in India. The building is located in the part called Kannadi in the district Pallakad nearby road National Highway 544, which is connected from the south side. Right next to the area aren’t built any other objects. The work shows the design of the alone standing building, which is divided into 4 blocks. The most of the area is used as accommodation, the other parts as restaurant and shop. The main role in designing was Indian religion and local traditions, which were inspiration in the layout and aesthetic solution of the building. The sections are connected thanks to the atrium in the middle and to the rooms in the second ground is the main entrance through the built-on gallery. All rooms are supposed to be for 2 residents and don’t include a sanitary facilities (these are common, 2 on the floor). The design is using traditional materials and the façade is made by overhanging panels from metal frame knitted by colorful cord from recycled plastic (or textile). As a result of this is possible to make people think of the pollution in the world and mainly in India. Colors refer to their religion, which are used even on their typical trucks, they should bring the protection and safety on the way before the drivers come back to the families. Panels are also used as the shading element.
