Kapitola se zabývá „vícekolejností“ pojmenování jednotlivých sídelních lokalit v Česku, konkrétně pak případy, kdy železniční stanice, pošta a/nebo katastrální území má odlišné pojmenování než daná obec, případně její část. Autor upozorňuje, že zvláště názvy železničních stanic nebo pošt jsou často mylně ztotožňovány s oficiálními standardizovanými názvy obcí. Nezřídka pak může docházet k omylům a komunikačním problémům. Odstranění vícekolejnosti je obtížné kvůli značné roztříštěnosti pravomocí institucí, které jednotlivé názvy schvalují. Druhá část textu se věnuje názvům katastrálních území. Tato pojmenování se někdy od názvů obcí odlišují z toho důvodu, že obec byla oficiálně přejmenována, avšak k odpovídající změně názvu katastrálního území již nedošlo. The chapter deals with the disunity in naming the individual inhabited localities in Czechia, namely with the cases when the railway station, post office and/or cadastral area has\na name different from the municipality (or municipality part) name. It is noted that especially railway station or post office names are often mistakenly identified with the official standardized municipality names. This may lead to misunderstanding and problems in communication. Removing this disunity is difficult due to considerable fragmentation of powers of the individual authorities responsible for the individual names. The second part of the paper investigates the names of cadastral areas. In some cases, these names differ from the municipality names just because the municipality had been officially renamed, but the corresponding change of the cadastral area name did not take place.
