Tato diplomová práce obsahuje vysvětlení základních pojmů a principů využívaných v problematice informačních systémů. Součástí diplomové práce jsou analýzy stávajícího stavu informačního systému ve vybrané firmě a posouzení jeho efektivnosti. Na základě těchto analýz je navrhnut soubor řešení pro zlepšení stávajícího stavu informačního systému a to jak z hlediska vyváženosti, tak i efektivnosti IS. This master´s thesis contains an explanation of basic terms and principals used in an issue of information systems. Part of this master´s thesis is analyses of a current state of an information system in a selected company and evaluation of its effectiveness. A set of improvement propositions of the current state was created based on those analyses with both balance and effectiveness of an IS taken into account.
