Cílem práce bude analýza činností, kterými se italská mafie zabývá a její dopad na ekonomiku jižní části Itálie. Pro pochopení postavení a chování mafie v dnešním světě je důležité vyjít z její historie. Proto se teoretická část zaměří na příčiny vzniku a na hlavní etapy vývoje italské mafie, na její organizaci a vnitřní pravidla, která jsou v rámci mafie dodržována. V další části budou představeny metody a hlavní konkurenční výhody, které mafie využívá k získání a posílení svého postavení na trhu. Praktická část práce bude analyzovat italský trh, který je působením mafie deformován. Její přítomnost je proto označována jako jedna z příčin zaostalosti jižní části Itálie. Analýza bude provedena jak metodou kvalitativní, tzn. na základě studia italské legislativy, svědectví a odborných článků, tak kvantitativní, za použití statistik, které jsou zveřejňovány organizací ISTAT a dalšími institucemi. Blacher paper targets at illegal activities of maffia and their influence on the economy of South Italy. For understanding today's mafia it is important to know its hystory. That is why theoretic part focuses on reason of its origin, its evolution, its way of organization and its rules, which are followed by all members. Another part of blacher paper intruduces methods and competitive advantages which mafia uses to strenghten its status on market. In the practical part I analyze the Italian market, which has been deformed by maffia. Its presence is indicated as one of the reasons of underdevelopment of southern Italy. The analyse will be realized with qualitative analysis (based on italian legislativ and paper) and by quantitative analysis (based on different statistics)
