Táto práca uvádza odvodenie základných vlastnotí vĺn na hladine, medzi ktoré patrí disperzná relácia, tvar vlny, fázová a grupová rýchlosť a pohyb elementu vody. Zaoberá sa ako vlnami na hlbokej vode, tak aj vlnami na plytkej vode. Odvodené vlastnosti sú skúmané pre oba tieto prípady. V poslednej časti sú uvedené konkrétne príklady týchto dvoch typov vĺn. This bachelor's thesis presents the derivation of basic characteristics of surface waves which includes the dispersion relation, the shape of the wave, the phase velocity, the group velocity and the movement of water particle. Thesis deals with both deep-water waves and shallow-water waves. Derived characteristics are examined in both cases. In the last part of thesis there are specific examples of those two types of waves.
