Cílem bakalářské práce bylo navržení obnovy objektu bývalé hradní prádelny hradu Veveří, při ulici Rakovecká v městské části Brno-Bystrc. Záměr k obnově vzešel od současných majitelů a spočíval v návrhu nového programu využití s environmentální tématikou a poté samotné rekonstrukce objektu. Navržen byl objekt s rekreačním ubytováním se specializovanými dílnami zaměřenými převážně na výuku a provozování tradičních řemesel. Vzhledem k špatnému technickému stavu objektu a novému plánovanému využití bylo nutno odstranit a navrhnout nový krov a stropní konstrukce. Do vnitřního dvoru objektu byla navržena prosklená vestavba sloužící jako hlavní komunikace. V těsné blízkosti původní budovy byl navržen dům správce, který je částečně zasazen ve svahu, dále nové zpevněné plochy k pracovním a rekreačním účelům a bude sanován původní rybník. The goal of the bachelor thesis lied in designing a reconstrucion of the late Laundry under the Veveří castle, located at Rakovecká street, Brno-Bystrc. The intention of reconstrucion came from the current owners and had two parts. First part was coming up with new funcion – primarily educational and with focus on environmental topics. Second goal was to design the reconstrucion itself. Designed solution consists of two main functions – recreational habitation units and workshops specilized on teaching of traditional crafts. Because of really bad technical condition of the building and its new projected use, it was necessary to remove and re-desing new roof and ceilling constructions. New glass-facade extension was designed in the court and serves as main circulation area. New, embedded in the slope, building for the manager and variety of new paved areas were designed in close distance. The remediation of nearby pond was proposed as well.
