Práce začíná základním popisem funkce luminiscenční diody. Dále popisuje základní způsoby tvorby chladících pouzder výkonových LED a možnosti odvodu tepla. V teoretické části práce jsou také uvedeny možnosti regulace tepelných ztrát a možnosti napájení výkonových LED. Praktická část práce obsahuje popis návrhu a konstrukce světelného zdroje s LED, využívajícího poznatků o chlazení a napájení z teoretické části. Světelný zdroj je pro co nejvšestrannější využití možno napájet z různých napájecích napětí. This work starts with the basic description of function of light-emitting diode. It also describes the basic techniques of design of cooling housings for power LEDs and possibility of heat removal. In the theoretical part of this work is also described the possibility of heat dissipation regulating and the possibility of the power sources for LEDs. The practical part includes description of LED light source design and construction, using knowledge about cooling and power from theoretical part. The light source is designed for different kinds of power supplies for maximum flexibility of usage.
