Ve své bakalářské práci se zabývám tematikou escapismu – tzn. touze po úniku z reality (skrze počítačové hry, denní snění atd.) Důvodem k tomuto zaměření je především má osobní potřeba utéci – zejména z emoční pasti určitých lidí a z určitého druhu traumat, která během let občas vyplouvají na povrch a ovlivňují jak moji přítomnost, tak budoucnost. Jako prostředek k naplnění záměru jsem si vybrala malbu na větší formáty pláten, do které se snažím promítnou pocit nerozhodnosti, úzkosti, očekávání. Ve společenském kontextu mi zvolené téma přijde relevantní a nemohu říci, že by platilo jen pro poslední tři roky. V širší současnosti ale mezi lidmi vnímám potřebu úniku mnohem intenzivněji. In my bachelor's thesis I deal with the issue of escapism - i.e.the desire to escape from reality (through computer games, daydreaming, an escape into the world of fantasy etc.). The reason I chose this theme lies in my personal desire to escape - from certain people's emotional prison, from certain types of traumas, which, within the space of years, sometimes emerge on the surface and influence my present life as well as my future. My medium of choice was large scale painting on canvas. Into these paintings, I have tried to project my feelings of indecision, anxiety and expectation. I believe the theme to be relevant int the whole socio-cultural context, and not just in the last three years, though I do feel the need to escape from reality to be more sought after by people in the context of the wider present.
