V úvodu teoretické části je stručně popsána historie výroby čelních skel a také výroby skla obecně. Dále jsou popsány klíčové parametry a prvky výbavy čelních skel a v neposlední řadě také výrobní proces moderních čelních skel. Závěrem teoretické části jsou objasněny podmínky pro uvedení čelních skel do provozu - homologace. Stěžejní část práce je věnována technickému popisu typických poškození čelních skel automobilů a zjišťování jejich příčin, což má přínos při odhalování pojistných podvodů. Tato práce rovněž nastiňuje alternativní způsob opravy poškození čelního skla, nebo pokud je to nutné, jeho výměnu. Theoretical part’s opening describes brief history of manufacturing of windshields and glass in general. Further in this part, key parameters and additional features are described as well as manufacturing processes of a modern windshield. Moreover, homologation procedure is clarified. The main focus of this thesis is technical description of typical damage of car’s windshield and investigation of its root causes, which may help to reveal insurance fraud. The thesis also outlines alternative way, which can be used to recover damaged windshield or, if necessary, to replace it.
