Tato práce se zabývá metodou hraničních prvků. Jedná se o jednu z numerických metod používaných k řešení některých úloh z mechaniky, které jsou popsané parciálními diferenciálními rovnicemi. Cílem práce je formulovat metodu hraničních prvků pro rovinný problém a následně získané poznatky aplikovat na konkrétní případ. This thesis is concerned with the Boundary element method. This is one of the numerical methods used to solve some problems of the mechanics, which are described by partial diffrential equations. The goal of this thesis is to formulate the Boundary element method for the plane problem and then apply the gained knowledge to a particular case.
