Tato bakalářská práce je rešeršního charakteru a zabývá se současnými typy pohonů plavidel. Vytváří přehled o stavbě, principu činnosti a použití jednotlivých součástí pohonů a rozděluje je do skupin podle jejich funkce. Práce se také zabývá historickým vývojem pohonů od prvních vesel až po nejmodernější jaderné pohony. This Bachelor’s thesis is kind of background research and it deals with current types propulsion of vessels. It is summary of construction, functioning and usage of individual parts of propulsion which divides into groups according to their determination. This work also deals with historical evolution of engines from first oars to the most modern nuclear engines.
