Publikace si klade za cíl upozornit na postavení žen v české vědě a na důležitost řešení problému genderové rovnosti obecně. První část zprávy shrnuje aktivity institucí v oblasti genderové rovnosti ve vědě v roce 2010 a dále nabízí přehled základních statistických údajů o postavení žen ve vědě a genderové rovnosti. V příloze pak informuje o aktivitách vybraných evropských administrativ, výzkumných institucí a vysokých škol. The publication aims to highlight the position of women in Czech science and the importance of addressing gender equality on the policy level in general. The first part of the report summarizes the activities of science and state institutions in the field of gender equality in 2010, then, provides a statistical overview about position of women in Czech science. The Annex informs about activities of selected European governments, research institutions and universities.
