Cílem práce je shrnout a porovnat ekologické vlivy z různých typů elektráren, popsat možnosti snížení škodlivosti některých vlivů a navrhnout opatření pro čistší výrobu elektrické energie. Na úvod je uveden přehled o struktuře této práce a je objasněna volba tématu. Ve druhé části je nejprve popsán stav energetického mixu v České republice v roce 2009 a v následujících podkapitolách jsou popsány základní principy fungování jednotlivých elektráren, škodlivé efekty vznikající při jejich provozu a jejich dopady na člověka a životní prostředí. Hodnoceny jsou elektrárny, které vyrobily roku 2009 nezanedbatelné množství elektrické energie, jsou to: tepelné elektrárny (především uhelné, ale i elektrárny spalující biomasu a plynové elektrárny), jaderné elektrárny, vodní elektrárny, větrné elektrárny a sluneční elektrárny. Dále je zmíněna ekonomická náročnost výroby energie z různých zdrojů a jejich potenciál v naší zemi v dalších letech. V následující části je zvolena a přiblížena jedna z možností snižování škodlivosti současné výroby elektrické energie, a to redukce emisí oxidu uhličitého. Krátce je popsáno, jaký má vliv tento skleníkový plyn na oteplení naší planety, jaké jsou v současné době metody na zachytávání oxidu uhličitého a jejich princip fungování, možnosti ukládání (případně využití) a přepravy. Poté je shrnuta ekonomická náročnost výroby energie v závislosti na použití těchto technologií v různých typech elektráren a možnosti realizace v České republice. Na závěr druhé kapitoly je proveden odhad změny energetického mixu jako jedné z možností snižování škodlivých vlivů vznikajících při výrobě elektrické energie. Ve třetí části je provedena základní klasifikace škodlivých vlivů a dále jejich porovnání na základě druhé kapitoly, které je stručně uvedeno v tabulce a vyhodnoceno. Čtvrtá část se týká především zhodnocení odhadu energetického mixu.
The main subject of this work is to compare the ecological impacts of different types of power stations, to describe the possibilities how to reduce some of their harmful effects, and to design a cleaner electricity production process. Firstly the summary of this paper structure is introduced and the choice of its subject is explained. The second part describes the structure of energy mix in the Czech Republic in 2009 and in the following subheads there are defined basic principles of the particular power stations’ functioning, harmful effects rising during their operating and their impacts on people and the environment. There is the evalution of the power plants that created the indispensable amount of electric energy in 2009, which are: thermal power stations (mainly coal-fired ones but also the power plants burning biomass and the gas power plants), nuclear power plants, water power plants, wind power plants and solar power plants. Further there is mentioned the economical demand of energy generation from various sources and thein potential in our country in the next years. In the following part is focused on the possibility of reducing harmfulness in present electricity production, to the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions. It briefly describes the influence of this greenhouse gas on warming of our planet, what methods of capture carbon dioxide are recently available, what are the principles of these methods and what are the possibilities of carbon dioxide storage and transportation. Then we sum up economic demands of power production in the relation to useage of these technologies in various types of power plants. Likewise the possibilities of their realization in the Czech Republic are discussed. At the end of the second chapter we estimate the change of energy mix in the Czech Republic as a possible reduction of detrimental effects created by electric power production. In the third part we classify and compare these harmful impacts. Last chapter is focused on the evaluation of our energy mix estimation.
