cze Abstract:
Přestože informace získané na základě rozhovorů s respondenty potvrdily změny body image po poranění míchy, nebyla zjištěna souvislost mezi těmito změnami a využívanou osobní asistencí.(in English): The main aim of this bachelor thesis was to explore how the consequences of spinal cord injury affect the body image of respondents and whether the utilization of personal assistance services influences this perception. One of the reasons for choosing this topic was an attempt to understand whether the disruption of bodily privacy through care provided by another person could lead to a negative body image. The theoretical part of the thesis acquaints the reader with concepts and information related to this issue. The empirical section was conducted using a qualitative research method. Despite information obtained from interviews with respondents confirming changes in body image after spinal cord injury, no correlation was found between these changes and the use of personal assistance.
