Léčba dětí se zhoubným onemocněním představuje velmi tíživou situaci pro pacienty samotné i jejich rodiny. Cílem diplomové práce je zmapovat sociální práci, státní pomoc a podporu od neziskových organizací rodinám onkologicky nemocných dětí. Součástí práce je výzkumné šetření. Výzkum byl koncipován do tří kategorií. V první části bylo provedeno dotazníkové šetření, kterého se účastnily rodiny dětí léčených na Klinice dětské hematologie a onkologie (KDHO) ve Fakultní nemocnici v Motole. Druhou část tvoří rozhovor se zdravotně sociálním pracovníkem. Třetí částí je analýza dokumentace vybraných onkologických pacientů. Hlavními zjištěními jsou - praxe sociální práce je dostačující. Existuje zde rozmanitá státní sociální pomoc, ale je velmi pomalá. Informovanost rodin o možnostech státní sociální podpory je dobrá. Časně rodiny využívaly finanční podporu od nadace Dobrý Anděl a materiální podporu neziskových organizací. Respondenti shodně projevili zájem o informační leták, jehož návrh je součásti diplomové práce. The purpose of the thesis is to map social work, state help and support from non-profit organizations to families of children with cancer. Part of the work is a research investigation. The research was divided into three categories. The survey for families of children treated at the Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Clinic at the University Hospital Motol was made in the first part. The second part consists of an interview with a healthcare social worker. The third part is an analysis of the documentation of selected oncological patients. The main finding is - social work practice is sufficient. There is a variety of state social support, but it is very slow. Families are well informed about the possibilities of state social support. Families used financial support from the Good Angel Foundation and material support from other non-profit organizations. The respondents expressed interest in the information paper, the proposal of which is part of the thesis.
