This master's thesis deals with the somatic methods used in a contemporary dance performative practice. The thesis' main focus is on somatic techniques that are inherent to and actively used in a performer's training, creative practice and performance. The aim of the thesis is describing the specific methods, their use and their positive outcome in a creative performer's practice. Magisterská diplomová práca sa zaoberá somatickými metódami, ktoré používajú tvorcovia v oblasti súčasného tanca. Práca sa zameriava predovšetkým na somatické princípy, ktoré sú aktívnou súčasťou tréningu, prípravy a tvorivej práce performera. Cieľom práce je popísať tieto metódy, ich konkrétne využitie a pozitívny prínos, ktorý v súčasnej tanečnej tvorbe prinášajú.
